ShadeFin™ by TACO Marine offers boaters expanded, affordable protection from the sun while enjoying more time on the water with friends and family.
ShadeFin can easily be mounted in a multitude of locations on boats of all types and sizes, from small bay boats to large center consoles, cruisers or pontoons, and is ideally suited for all levels of activity from boating and fishing to relaxing at the dock and sandbar.
Each ShadeFin comes with or without a Fixed Rod Holder Mount, which inserts into most standard T-top rod holders or into gunnel mount rod holders with an adapter. Available accessory options include an Adjustable Rod Holder Mount, a low-profile Hardtop Bracket Mount, Fixed or Adjustable Clamp-On Pipe Mounts, or the TACO Grand Slam 170 Outrigger or 170-2 Center Rigger Mounts. ShadeFin can also be combined with an optional Telescopic Rod Holder Accessory for extended shade coverage right from the gunnel or console if boaters do not have a T-top.
ShadeFin’s sleek aluminum housing and rib frame design is available in a choice of silver satin or black anodized finish, and features WeatherMAX 3D fabric in matching white or black colors. The fabric provides an excellent UPF 50+ rating of sun protection and is made of durable, UV-stabilized material designed to withstand the harsh marine environment. It is offered in a 5-foot width by 6-foot length shade size.
