The three types of Canvas Top Fittings we have available include Standard Top Fittings, Nylon Top Fittings and Ball & Socket Top Fittings. All three of these Top Fittings categories are designed to help boat builders build their Bimini and Canvas Tops.
Our Standard Top Fittings are machined from Type-316L stainless steel for long-lasting durability and strength. Their sleek and polished finish are why they are TACO’s most popular Top Fitting. Also, TACO’s Standard Top Fittings fit great with our Stainless Steel Tubing.
Manufactured from marine-grade injection molded nylon, TACO’s Nylon Top Fittings are the most affordable canvas hardware. These fittings are UV resistant and high impact to ensure performance and weatherability for years. What’s great about Nylon is that it will not mildew. This is ideal for building Canvas and Bimini Tops with Aluminum Tube.
Ball & Socket Top Fittings take Canvas and Bimini Tops to the next level. They allow the canvas or Bimini Top to collapse when not in use and to extended in order to shelter from rain or shine. TACO’s patented Ball & Socket Top Fittings, like the Standard Top Fittings, are manufactured from the highest-quality Type-316L stainless steel. What separates the Ball & Socket Top Fittings from the Standard is the Delrin insert, which eliminates rattling, allows full range of motion and smooth operation. Also, all of our Ball & Socket Top Fittings were designed to fit standard tube sizes from 7/8” to 1” outside diameter.
